I made a quick little trek down to the Johnson Creek watershed and followed the Springwater Corridor trail this morning. It had been ages since I had been down there, long enough to be pleasantly surprised.

The trail runs about 21 miles and follows a former railway line of the same name from boring to the eastbank esplanade and is part of the “40 Mile” loop trail system. This sections is very active and I was almost clipped by bicycles on several occasions, granted I was running around like a loon snapping photos.
